The Alexandria Fire Department provides fire protection to The City of Alexandria in Dekalb County Tennessee. Sixteen all volunteer members respond to fires, motor vehicle accidents, medical emergencies, fire and carbon monoxide alarms, landing zones for air medical helicopters, and special requests for service. Our station is located at Alexandria City Hall at 102 High Street in Alexandria. We are always looking for new Members, for more information see our Membership page.

¬†*Announcement- On May 5th 2015 The Town of Alexandria received its new ISO classification. Through improvements in The Alexandria Fire Department, Dekalb E-911 and Alexandria’s Water system a score of 4 was awarded, this is improved from a 7 in 2009.
